“We heard the very sad news that a passenger train traveling from Karachi to Rawalpindi derailed in Pakistan today (August 6),” said a statement from the Turkiye Foreign Ministry.
“We wish Allah mercy on those who died, convey our condolences to the relatives of the victims as well as the Pakistani government, and hope for a speedy recovery for those injured,” added the Turkiye foreign ministry.
Previously, a passenger train derailed in Sindh province, southern Pakistan, in which 30 people died and 100 others were injured.
